How to Specify
our Products
There are two ways
to specify the products and services we supply. Clients can use our copy and
paste specifications below and simply edit
aggregate
colour, size & layer depth if necessary. Or if a more in depth specification is
required please click here. To
copy and paste a specification.

Position your mouse in front of the first line required.

Click
and hold the left mouse button.

Drag
the mouse to the end of the last line required this should highlight the
required specification.

Release the mouse
and select Edit on the Menu Bar at the top of the page.

Select Copy.
-
Select the position
in your document you require the specification.

Select Edit on the
Menu Bar and Paste to insert the specification.

Task
complete, save your document.

How to Specify Option 2.
It is important to us
that we make it as easy as possible for our clients to provide their clients
with the information they need to incorporate our products into the scheme's
they are working on. A typical specification would read as follows.
Permeable /
Boundtex UV Resin / LT15-18 / Rhine Gold / FD20 / AG14mm.
This would produce a
water permeable surface 18mm in depth using a 3-6mm Rhine gold aggregate.
Resin Bonded
Specification Example :
Non- Permeable / LT5 /
Chinese Bauxite / FD6 / AG6mm
This would produce a Non
permeable surface 5mm in depth using a 1-3mm Chinese Bauxite aggregate.
Quartz Stone Carpets Specification
Example :
Non- Permeable / LT8 /
RAL 1001 / FD8 / Internal / Concrete
This would produce a Non
permeable Sealed surface 8mm in depth using a RAL colour 1001 2-4mm Quartz.
Specification Codes Explained :

Permeable System Required – Boundtex UV Stable Resin.
·
LT15-18
= Layer Thickness Required depth in millimetres.
·
Rhine Gold
= Aggregate chosen to meet your clients colour scheme.

FD20
= Finished Depth is the height difference between the top of the asphalt
substrate and the top of the edging block. (This will vary dependant on the
evenness of the edging material) eg. A Granite Set edging has an uneven profile
and requires a greater height difference from the top of the asphalt to the top
of the edging in order to achieve the best finish.
·
AG14
= Recommended Asphalt Grade stone size in millimetres.
