AquaPave Permeable Paving

AquaPave permeable paving uses a combination of two products. AquaPave which is a water permeable, honeycomb structure which has a textile membrane on both sides and a compression strength of 200 tons. This is overlaid with BoundTex resin bound gravel creating a structurally sound water permeable structure.

AquaPave base structure comes in light weight 2.44 x 1.22m x 20mm deep panels which are laid in brick bond format on a bed of sharp sand. Once laid the panels are bedded further by using a medium sized compacting plate then taping the joints.

After taping the joints the final part of the installation is to apply BoundTex resin bound gravel to the AquaPave resulting in an environmentally friendly, water permeable structure. AquaPave Permeable paving is suitable for all foot traffic areas and light domestic vehicle traffic. The images below show a typical AquaPave Permeable paving installation.
